GREEN9 SDGCONCLAVE-2020

Background

The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) is working towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. IGEN-GREEN9, has been serving the Community for over 8 years in the field of Energy Efficiency Research and Energy Conservation activities. In a short span of time, it was nurtured and nourished to spread it wings to more than 20 EnSaV (Energy Saving) clubs in colleges & schools across the nation. With these team members, it has conducted more than 100 events, adopted 10 villages, to promote 9mantras and organize research projects which ensued the outcome of saving 1L unit energy. The institution has 25 research publications to its credit, its two adopted villages have been declared as energy saver villages and it has successfully created energy conservation awareness campaign among 25Lakhs of people and also organized many other remarkable programmes on energy efficiency in line with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

IGEN- GREEN9 SDG CONCLAVE 2020 – The objective of the Conclave is to explore new happening and endeavoured to highlight the direction that Professional Organisations have taken to reach their sustainable development goals 7, 9 &13.

IGEN - GREEN9 organizes the First Sustainability Development Goals Conclave on 2nd& 3rd October 2020 with a focus to highlight the innovations on SDG 7,9 & 13. It is a two days , 16 hours gala event with the involvement of 14 Partners . The objectives of the first conclave would be to bring together the best practices and perspectives from all EnSav clubs and to recognize the individuals/teams that have made an exceptional contribution to achieve SDG.
